Mantra:
Om Shanti Shanti Shanti.
Translation:
Om is the most sacred mantra in Buddhism and Hinduism. It is said that Om is the primordial sound of the universe. Shanti is Sanskrit for peace.
Amethyst:
Protection, purification, and divine connection are the hallmarks of this stone. Associated with the brow and crown chakras, amethyst is known as the stone of intuition and spiritual protection.
Clear Quartz:
Clear quartz has been honored through the ages as an amplifier of one’s intentions and is symbolic as a stone of light. Quartz is most commonly used for cleansing, clearing, and amplifying one’s intentions from the most gross (the physical) to the most subtle (absolute bliss).
Lemon Quartz:
Lemon Quartz is known as a stone of single-pointed focus. It is said to be an excellent meditation stone by assisting one in filtering out extraneous thoughts, allowing one to just be in the moment. It is also a stone of creativity and abundance of all kinds.
Pyrite:
Pyrite is associated with the Solar Plexus chakra. It represents one’s identity and will, the ability to boost one’s resolve to accomplish tasks in the physical world. Pyrite is also used to break habits and establish new, more positive patterns.
Malas are used as a meditation tool; usually, an intention or mantra is recited with the turn of each bead. Each mala I create is designed with a purpose. I select beads based on quality, color, and energetic compatibility for that purpose. Each mala is given a Sanskrit mantra, sprayed with Sage oil, and blessed on my quartz stone altar.
